I think it is quite fun actually October 1, 2006 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
i must say that all the bad reveiws given 2 this game have been a little unfair, true the commentry does get a little repetitive and the game could certianly improve but all in all it is rather good fun. And the create your own custom club is an exellent bonus making the clubs unstoppable is good so altogether it isn't that bad a game.
don't bother January 7, 2006 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
rubbish rubbish rubbish. dont even bother. graphics are great but dont show emotion. the players move in straight lines. i mean you cant even buy anyone to improve your squad. even buy FIFA 99 on PS1 its better than this. the only reason i gave it 1 star is because it didn't let me do -5.
Seriously Lacking July 14, 2005 3 out of 6 found this review helpful
I am a Man Utd fan who blindly bought the game because it had the Utd crest emblazoned all over it (churlish I know!). How disapointed I was! The game is terrible and that is being kind. The graphics that so many have raved about are not that good or realistic and as for the gameplay, give me a break. The AI is non-existant, I mean, I know that Tim Howard is useless but even he wouldn't let a shot cannon off the bar, hit his head, the post and then in. This title remains a severe let down and the sooner that people realise the better. Buy Pro Evo instead, hell go and buy the very first pro evo as it is far better than this. Everything about this game is light years behind the likes of FIFA and PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER which is a shame because it promises much but produces very little. The game is sluggish, the graphics are cartoony and the crowd as you walk into Old Trafford are so badly done, they look positively 2D. The only saving grace in my opinion is the menu screens where the Utd lads are doing keep ups and showing off!! Shocking game, don't bother!!!

First of all who does 'twankey' think he is. some one ill put some lumps on him. This game has top of the range graphics excellant gameplay and all of the Ronaldo feints, Giggs runs and Van the man finishes you can wish for.
Rubbish October 28, 2004 6 out of 33 found this review helpful
Given that fans of Man U are on average by far the most ignorant about football of any team perhaps this will be sufficient to satisfy them, but for real footy fans it falls well short of being adequate. No whining, no extended extra-time to let them equalise, no cynical challenges waved away by frightened refs, no finishing miles adrift of other teams yet still claiming they're the best in the country, no Old Trafford Referee bias, not even a whining manager mode. Where's the realism in that?
