MANCHESTER'S BEST EXPORT WERE FOUNDED BY A SCOUSER LOL. April 2, 2010 Jay (London) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Man United were founded by a scouser lol.
The parish was the birthplace of the Newton Heath Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Football Club which was established in 1878 and later become the world famous Manchester United. It began life as a football team formed by Frederick Attock, a Liverpudlian who was a superintendent engineer of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway(L&YR). The team played on a pitch at North Road, and were initially outfitted in green and gold jerseys. By 1892, they had been admitted to the Football League. The club remained in the area until 1893, when it moved to new premises at Bank Street in nearby Clayton. The name was changed to Manchester United Football Club in 1902.
Not happy with service January 8, 2010 P. O'Connell (Ireland) I have not receved my annual yet 43 days after ordoring it. I have receved no reply to my emails. I will have to try bloging sites to find a way of resolving the problem.
Manchester United 2010 Annual January 8, 2010 Mrs. Carole Hunt (England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This item was described well and lives up to my expectations, for a thin book it is packed with facts.
A great gift for a 9 year old boy, keeps reading it and finding out more facts about his favourite football team.
Disappointment January 4, 2010 L. Mchugh (UK) Did not receive this item nor heard from the seller. Would advise Amazon to disassociate themselves with this Seller
